I was just Googling around and found the Camp Chanco website. What a treat! I cannot for the life of me remember all the years I was there. My dad was chaplin at sessions over the beginning years of the camp. We were good friends with the Hughes. I remember many summers hanging out before I could come as a camper. 1973 is the first session where I found my name and I know I came many years after...achieving the Order of Chanco (had to leave the bike trip early for that!) Came back as waterfront staff in 1983 (anyone remember the tree on the way down to the waterfront that was struck by lightening that summer..way cool!) Lots of great memories!
