How Can I Pitch In?

Just like the night before Big Day, head to the dining hall and pick up a paintbrush. Or the web equivalent -- sign up and start typing and uploading.

"But Greg," some will say, "I am frightened by the Internets. This is just too much technology for my 20th century brain."

"Fiddlesticks," I reply. I'll walk you through it. If you can manage e-mail, this will be a cinch. Create an account for yourself.  Once you're logged in, on your left there's going to be a menu with your login name at the top. Under that you'll see Content and under that, Create Content.  Click Create Content and select what type of content you'd like to write.  Fill out the form and click Submit at the bottom.  Just that easy.

"But Greg," others say, "All I have are tied-up bundles of old Smoke Signals and shoeboxes brimming with 4x6 photos. How do I get them online?"

Since I want to get this website on its merry little way, for a limited time, I will do the scanning and editing for you. Contact me and we'll arrange it.

More specifically:

I'd like to eventually have a comprehensive camper and staff list for all the years and sessions of camp. I might be dreaming, but that's what I want.

Any photos, especially from the 70's (just to show my daughter that no one wore shorts at camp - think about it).

Stories, stories, stories - I know ya got 'em, now ya gotta share 'em.

And make some chatter on the message boards, while you're here.

Shorts!!

I had to go back and look...you are right! We usaully wore blue jeans or "painter's pants" but we did have shorts in the form of "cut-offs"!!!  Maybe we wore pants because back in the "70,s" we were in the throws of a coming"global ice age"!! Now it is "global warming" LOL!
