Camp Chanco to me was the best time I ever had as a kid. I remember the last day of camp was always the hardest because I never wanted to leave....I couldn't wait to return the next year. My brother and I went for 7 years and we had a ball!!! I remember hanging with my brother, Ned West, Matt Sexton and Gary Smith. We were always looking for a place to SKATE!! haha! I visited the old site one time in 1995 and the Adirondack that Gary Smith and I stayed in 9 years before was still there. I went in and saw where we had written our names on the wall in 1986.... I didn't have a camera so I planned to return and take a picture of it some day. Well, I returned too late (2000) because by the time I got back, it was all torn down. Oh well....I have alot of great memories of camp and the old cats I used to hang with......great website!!
